Mercer Labs, a pioneering cultural institution where art and technology converge, unveils Maestros and the Machines, an exhibition that challenges the very essence of art and its relationship with time. In this groundbreaking exploration, Maestros and the Machines pushes boundaries, inviting visitors to imagine what the great maestros of the past—from Mozart and Da Vinci to Hokusai and more —would have created if they had access to the limitless potential of modern technology.

Museum of Art and Technology redefines the museum experience. Through fifteen experimental exhibition spaces, interactive experiences, unique listening encounters and immersive installations the relationship between art and technology is re-imagined. Artist led, the Experimental Institution stands at 36,000 square ft. Mercer Labs where culture and innovation converge with intention and art humanizes technology. The museum fosters this exchange among artists through collaborations and curatorial programs. With Nachum’s on-site laboratory of master technical directors visions are brought to life. The function of art is to see the world with new eyes.

Roy Nachum is an experimental artist known for his comprehensive artistic practice that spans across various mediums, including painting, sculpture, architecture, installation and technology.Nachum’s work often includes Braille and the recurring subject, a child with a gold crown.The Crown a symbol of diversity, humility and equality. The Braille a mode of communication and expression through language and poetry. A method to help create awareness and inclusivity, and a tribute to those with visual impairments. Its tactile quality allows for interaction otherwise not allowed in art museums. Nachum’s work by its nature demands interaction, this notion has grown to feed the movement of Mercer Labs, where technology is a tool and viewers are invited to become part of the work.
